The Offline X Factor

by Keith Baxter on November 3, 2009

Yesterday morning, my old friend Jack Mize stopped by my house.

We decided to create a 40 minute video for you in my back yard.

I’m *sure* you will find some golden nuggets of info here. :-)

Thank you Keith and Jack,

Great stuff. Seems like the Google Maps / Local Search would be a good way to incorporate your “Pay Per Call” program you mentioned on your previous video. Since the number has to be displayed anyway. I’m just not sure how you would go about verifying the phone number though, since it’s an affiliate phone number.
Anyway, thanks again,

Steve Shaw

I liked your presentation this sounds pretty cool. One thing I think I missed. If you set up gmaps for them how do you do the phone verification. Also you get a web template, do I then setup a recurring payments on it for the offline customers?
Thank you.

I live outside the U.S. and would like to know if this OFFLINE X FACTOR will work from any location?

What are the hours involved monthly to maintain a client that you charge $300 to $1000 per month for services?

Please provide an update video answering questions from your readers please!

I coordinate the phone verification with the customer. Just takes a minute. They can put you on hold, get the pin, then give it to you to input. Never had a problem with that.

My customers have different preferences on payment. I have a merchant account. I also accept paypal and have some that prefer checks. I suggest recurring payments via cc or paypal.

There are several lead valves that are specific to the us. However I have several members throughout the world that find equivalent lead valves for their particular area.

I generally charge a setup fee to get all the lead valves going which can take up to two hours. Once the lead valves are open I generally spend less than an hour, two max on maintenance.

As for the pay per call you can use a service such as ringcentral.com or get a local telebranch from your phone company. Setup the google map listing, do the phone verification then forward the number to the affiliate. Cost would be less than $35 per month, perhaps much less.

I own Offline X Factor along with several other offline consulting products and this is by far the simplest to implement. Anyone could get started in this business in a day with this program. After seeing your video on Pay Per Call, I can’t wait to see how you combine the two. Looking forward to seeing more of how you use this info.

I still like the idea after watching the video. Like many I’ve been hearing about offline gold for awhile. I never wanted to build sites or do SEO. Also, I had owned a offline business for 15 yrs. 87-03. I have to wonder when people say there is no competition in this area it makes me wonder. We were called on DAILY by someone to buy ads, services, and donate to causes. I don’t want to be negative at all, but plenty of businesses are feeling the pinch. Are they really willing to pay for this. Cool if they are.

Nothing has changed. Businesses are stille called on daily. I have a bit of advantage because most businesses know they need to be found on internet but seem a bit overwhelmed at their options.

Most business owners understand a classified ad, mailer, etc. But when your typical tech guy starts talking seo, keyword density, blah blah it completely looses them.

If you can speak to them in non techie terms and explain that your service allows them to be found on the internet, you have a far better position to get their business. That’s regardless if you use the offline x factor techniques or not.

Very interesting stuff .
I almost bought a similar program earlier but after I did some local searches I discovered that a lot of the niches here are already very well serviced by larger SEO companies that have been around for awhile.Plus a lot of local businesses seem to know how to do it themselves
The businesses that aren’t doing well on the net would take too much effort to try and make them visible on the internet
I live in a small market {100,000} and it would be hard to compete here
Thanks
Ron

Other than search results is there a way to track how it helps the business? Once you have all the lead valves setup what is the incentive for them to keep on paying monthly? What if they don’t even have a site? Sell or refer them one? Thanks again.

Great stuff guys… You’ve been pulling out all the stops Keith and this guest is another indication of your passion for the industry you serve; Keep up the good work. Jack, thanks for putting together the simple nuts & bolts for us. I recently spent a great deal of money on a competing product and I’ve been wondering why as most of what’s in it is stuff I’m already getting very good at – particulary keyword and SEO strategies. I’m not saying you can ever know enough or stop learning, but that system left out most of what you cover here which is perfect for where I’m at. I struck a deal with my first client about a week ago to get him in front of his customers on the net in exchange for office and warehouse space for my telecom business – about 1500 sq ft. I’ve been scratching my head about some of the simpler things I can do to get some customers calling him and BAM! – Here comes Keith – right on time – with you as a guest offering the solution to my problem. Kudos and many thanks guys; I’m not completely through all of the material yet but I can see already that these are the missing pieces to the puzzle… As for some of the pesimistic rumblings we’re hearing in the responses above – well that just means more opportunity for us over-comers who take action… I guarantee that if you aim at nothing you’ll hit nothing… Thanks again guys…

Very interesting. Can you do this with ease when you are promoting a CP offer in another area or country,

Some of the lead valves require “care and feeding”. Others seem to last and last. The incentive for them to keep paying you is customers telling they found them online. I don’t go into the details of what’s involved. Most of my “do it for me” customers don’t know, understand or care what I do.

The fact that I charge them a setup fee takes care of my upfront efforts. I spend my time looking for opportunities rather than obstacles. If a customer ever came to me and said I don’t think it’s working and wants to cancel, then I wouldn’t sweat the time or lead valves they may have that linger. Sunk cost, nothing I’m going to fret over. Move on.

If they don’t have a site I offer and suggest a One page site. You can find that is sufficient for most small businesses. I take care of that. Anything more I refer out. It’s not worth the headache to me to be a web designer.

Great interview with Jack . . . he sounds like a genuine guy with many valuable tips to pass on.

Unfortunately I can’t say the same for his sidekick Eric Louviere. Have you listened to the home page pitch delivered by this snakeoil specialist at Offline X Factor?

That has got to be a candidate for hype BS of the year. Jack needs to jettison both Eric and the pitch . . . they have got to be hurting him.

John November 11, 2009 at 9:32 pm

I totally Agree with you Gary…. But with Keith giving it the thumbs up you know you need to check out O X F!!… regardless of Eric’s involvement……

If you got to know Eric, you would feel much differently.

I suspect that it’s his writing style that threw you off.

Whatever the case, he’s a good guy.

I bought X offline factor last night. Great teachings by Jack Mize in this course. These techniques Jack teaches are easier to apply than u would think! I highly recommend this program! thanks Keith for letting your subscribers know about this and to Jack for doing such a tremendous job with this course!!

I bought the course on Friday the 13th, my lucky day, and have watched all the modules once and now going for round 2. I was going to join another program that was $500.00 more than Offline X Factor, buy decided to take the plunge and I am very happy that I did! The Mapping factor is huge, but the other places to put your clients to get them noticed on the internet is awesome. I have been looking for something like this and the timing could not be more perfect.

I am a Realtor and the real estate market SUCKS right now! This marketing will help my business for sure, I am going to set up my real estate practice as my first guinea pig and after that my wifes new home based business.

I will be approaching a cleaning service on Monday the 16th of Nov. and see if they want to barter my service for theirs. Jack teaches you in the course to knock yourself out and even screw it up, but most important is to just get out there and TAKE ACTION!!!!!!!!!

ACTION JACKSON is the Key here!!! I have been floundering with internet marketing since 1997 and this is by far the best Internet Marketing business model I have seen. I looked up many examples of local businesses in my hometown all weekend and a lot are on with the Google map, but 95% of them are not in the other directories Jack shows you! That right there is a great lead valve.

I had a question about O X F and the response from the support center was quick, even on the weekend. I wont commet on the negative commesnts above but to only say this, get off you ass, like I am and TAKE ACTION!!!!!
TAKE ACTION!!!!!
