Ending The Confusion

by Keith Baxter on November 5, 2009

Yesterday was a complete waste of a day (or was it?)

I spent ALL day developing 72 PowerPoint slides.

After I was done writing out the slides, I then created a 27 minute video and planned on using that to sell my new Ending The Confusion apprentice program.

As with everything I do, I had my wife watch it and provide ‘instant feedback’. This is where I watch her eyes, her body language, and then get her verbal critique when done.

She had a frown for the most part while watching this (not good).

She didn’t move much (not  a bad sign).

But what she said after it was over left me thinking.

She said, ‘This sounds like hype… heck, everything you and your friends do sounds like hype to me and I really don’t like it… and I suspect most others don’t either. Why not just be straight-forward with them and show them some respect?’

My response, ‘But honey, tests have shown that a bit of hype is positive booster of sales. Heck, just ask any copywriter.’

That’s when she said that most copywriters are full of shit… and frankly, I kinda had to agree.

So I took a little time for reflection, and now it’s 2:15pm the following day.

I’ve decided to take her advice. She’s entrepreneurial like us, so she really is a good target to run ideas by.

So here you have it… hype free!

On Saturday, I’m speaking at a seminar which has about 70 buying units in the audience.

The promoter asked me what I was planning on selling… so I gave it some thought.

For weeks now, I planned on creating a modular course which I would call Ending The Confusion, and while I’ve speced it out, I didn’t have a timeframe for which to actually develop it.

So I decided that this seminar was a great excuse to get me off my ass and make what will be the most incredible product I’ve ever created.

Here’s what’s in it…

Module 1 – The Stealth Traffic System

In this module, you will get access to my secret Wordpress plugin as well as access to the backend system that makes this plugin work its magic.

Of course, an entire training system is included as well as strategies on how I use it to drive a crap-load of traffic and actions (leads and sales).

Module 2 – Pay Per Call Riches

Ok, the name sucks. If you have a better suggestion, then I’m all ears.

In this module, I will show you in detail how I’m killing it promoting these offers (if you have no idea what I’m talking about, then make sure you watch my 10k per day video 2 posts back).

I will show you how to get setup, my SEO strategy, and my media buying strategy.

Module 3 – Amazon Annihilation

I really need to work on these names, huh?

In this one, I will show you how I’m earning up to 2k per month promoting Amazon.com products.

* This system can be used to promote Amazon, CPA, and heck, just about anything!

This is a system that uses ‘free traffic’ only.

Module 4 – 3,000,000 unique visitors per month

When I have a hot offer (usually my own) and I want to ramp up traffic, this is what I do… exactly.

You will be able to watch over my shoulder as I create server-crushing traffic systems.

Bonuses – I will have various scripts and videos released throughout the training as well.

Each module will be released 30 days after the previous module.

When I go live with this to the masses, it will be expensive and chances are it will be broken up into 4 separate products.

Now here’s where things get interesting…

I can post screenshots of my merchant account and traffic stats to impress everyone (this is what everyone does), but in reality… I have a lot more experience at this than most, so those stats aren’t usually obtainable from students right out of the gate.

So I thought to myself…

Price this low, become a mentor, get some real success stories… and post THEIR stats as my proof element when the time comes to sell this to the masses.

I like that idea… it feels better than getting you overly excited only to be let down when you don’t hit a home run your first time in the park.

And since I’m making this offer at the seminar this weekend, I thought it best to give you the respect (my readers) the same offer that they will be getting.

I’m only taking on 100 apprentices for starters (and this includes those in the seminar) for the ‘content creation’ phase.

The price is $197… one time (no rebills, etc).

You will have a 30 day no-questions-asked money back guarantee from the time of purchase (now).

At the seminar, I will also be adding in an upsell for a special JV where I build out 5 sites for you and we split the income 50/50 for an additional $497.

How’s this for transparency?

If you are at all interested in this, then jump on over to Ending The Confusion site and signup now.

hello, interested in this but have a couple questions -
for income goal of $1-$5 per day, is that for each site or for the 5 sites combined?
also is it designed to be completely hands off for us or are we expected to be involved in the content, promotion, and monetization of the sites?
also curious, is your Module 3 similar to Info Product Killer if you’re familiar with that (building minisites around product model #’s)? Thanks.

Thank goodness for a sensible wife and please thank your wife for me!

I, like most of us (I suspect), usually ignore the hype and scroll through pages looking for the “meat” of any offer. If the “meat” of the offer makes sense, I may be interested, otherwise I click away.

Just think of all the time wasted putting together a hyped offer as per “copy writing rules”, when everyone is just looking for the “meat” of the offer?

Cheers

Leon

I have 2 questions
About module 1 The Stealth Traffic System
Do you provide or show any template or landing pages to use, which is effective and already generating income.

Second question for 5 sites you will create for a fee of $ 497
Domain names will be in your name or our name and the it will be hosted on our server or yours.?

Thank you for valuable information

where the site will be uploaded on your serve or ours
the domain name will be on whose name

Hi, could you be a bit more specific about the “secret Wordpress plugin”.

Is it just something that optimizes the blog, or something more?

Cheers.

Hi Keith,

I am also a big fan of yours since the Magic Bullet seminar. You seem to be the only one who sticks to his word and constantly over delivers. You are not only saying that you care for others, you actually do it. So thank you to your wife to keep the hype out. You 2 seem to be the perfect couple :-) .

Let me know how I can upgrade my bonuses to the apprentice status, I am looking forward to you being my mentor.

Thanks and have a great weekend.

Hi Max,

The plugin doesn’t optimize anything.

Rather it’s a content generating and posting as well as an auto link getting plugin.

Pretty cool, actually.

Hi Stephan,

Just purchase the apprentice program as it will never be offered at $197 again (and I’m very serious about this).

Some of the info I’ve been very resistant to releasing, but I am. :-)

Give your wife a great big kiss!. I think she was right on this one. Although you probably woulda sold me with your hypefest too. lol. I did find this straight forward offer refreshing though. I think anyone that’s been in IM for awhile is completely jaded when it comes to salesletters. I do the same thing as Leon above does, skip the hype crap and look for the actual offer…I usually just want to know what it is I’ll get and what it’s going to cost me.

You still managed to work in some great psychological triggers anyway. I think those are most important and maybe even work better in this kind of straight forward format.

- Yes, but you will see that it’s very flexible.

Second question for 5 sites you will create for a fee of $ 497

- You will own the domain, but I will control the hosting.

Hey Keith,

Yeah..I am in just purchased it.
I kind of wasted my bonuses…but hey, in the big picture of things this is peanuts :-) .
Your apprentice program sounds so compelling. If I don’t make my money back with that information and the tools offered here, I better look to spend my time with something else.

What is the time frame for the apprentice program?

Thanks

say WhaaaaaaaT&^%$(+
I am new and I did not understand a word you said….wish I did. I’m like a kid in a candy store, only there is so much candy I can’t decide, and even if I could, I don’t speak the language so I couldn’t convey my desire without pointing. And I can’t even point because my finger is broken. Amazed, confused, lost in translation. :-)
