That said, I would rather donate to Haitians than to homeless folks here in the US. Why? Because I know for a fact that Haitians in Haiti have not voted against my bank account. They can’t vote here. April 15th is supported by both Republicans and Democrats. When I look at a homeless man, I have to assume that he voted for a Republican or a Democrat. If homeless men don’t care about my bank account and go vote for a Republican or Democrat why should I care about them? They can’t have it both ways sorry more of my money going to Washington and more of my money going to them.

I agree with you Mr.Baxter when you say help homeless people here in our backyards. I have actually have volunteered at many shelters and churches that help lower class people down to homeless (I’m only 19). There is a lot more opportunity here in The United States Of America then other places.

At the moment Haiti needs our prayers and help imagine 100,000+ people dead . . .
