Has your site been banned by Google? Here’s how to fix that…

AffiliateRadio.com was a premium domain that I picked up in an auction.

One of the downsides to this (and why I was able to negotiate a good deal) was that the site had been banned by Google.

Almost all autobloggers have had sites banned and in most cases, they just throw the domain away.

But you can fix that and here’s how…

1. Have 5-10 GOOD articles written that are closely related to the topic of you blog. You need to have congruency here. The content should match the domain.

IE: If your domain is AcneCures.com, make sure you have articles about curing acne on your site.

Simple, I know.

2. One these new articles have been posted to your site, submit your site to Google’s Webmaster Tools AND your sitemap (you have one, right?) as well.

3. Wait a week.

4. Check your site by typing site:domain.com into the Google search engine.

5. If your site has not been reindexed at this point, here are some other things you can do…

6. Add Google Analytics to your site if it’s not already installed.

7. Add your feed to Feedburner.com.

8. Wait another week.

9. Repeat step 4.

9 times out of 10, if the content you added as decent, you will be back in the index.

Enjoy,

Keith

Great post
If you still have a problem after doing this then you can submit a reconsideration request to Google. They have a video about it on youtube.
