I installed the plugin on a couple of sites but I don't really understand the purpose of the Yahoo API. I followed the link and read up on it but it was a little confusing as to what I was signing up for.

I had two options, generic and browser based so I signed up for generic as it was much faster. I was wondering if you could explain the purpose of the API, just the basics? Also did I make the right choice in signing up for the generic one?

I would like to know in all honesty, if a person who wants to buy your products that can help produce traffic, ie.. targeted, which one would you see a person use. Thanks in advance.

Hi Keith,

Great info as usual - many thanks. Do you see any kind of potential for negative blowback if I'm using this plugin on a client's site - say if it links to another site in the local community where my client conducts local business? Perhaps being viewed as spam and someone in the local community trashes my client for it? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Keep up the great work - you're an IM ROCKSTAR dude! Cheers!

As always, you do come up with the best. This would be very useful to bloggers who write one post per day, or who are just starting out.

Thanks.

Thanks for the heads up on this & I'll sure look out for the email.

Shame its so server intensive as I have several automated blogs but it'll do for my some what neglected ones for sure :)

Aaah, may be it's not cool for me to ask about another plugin you hinted on in the same post talking about the new one but I'd like to have a look at the one you mentioned. Yes - your one that's not free :p

Eyes peeled...

That sounds awesome Keith especially the FREE part. It sounds like it would be best to use on manually built sites only.

If you use it on sites that you nurture yourself you would have control over how many posts you make to the site but if you have any type of automation that adds content to your site you probably would not want to use it on such a site.

Still looking for some more ping.fm accounts so if your guy decides to release anymore please keep me in mind.

Actually there is a business opportunity for someone who is just starting out. All you would have to do is concentrate on learning the in's and out's of social media networks and focus on just creating ping.fm accounts you would become extremely efficient and I doubt you would have any problem selling them.

Thanks again Keith!
